I leave in the morning for LA and to say that I'm excited is an understatement. I've packed all my bags and they weigh in at around 45 pounds, checked baggage that is. I even get to look forward to traveling with another Peace Corps invitee to LA.
I just hope I don't mess up a simple flight. I'm growing up so fast
Also, I wont be in contact for several days after I get to the Philies. Just a heads-up, I don't want anyone to get worried.
You Can Contact Me Anytime
If you have any questions about Peace Corps and its experience please ask me. I've got the time of day and love to talk. This blog doesn't need to be a one way communication street.

Home for Minute
I just returned from my state-wide friend and family tour and I want to thank everyone who I was able to see and even those who I couldn't get to, thanks for all the support! I had some fabulous hosts.
It's only a few more days before I'm on an airplane for a the Philies and I couldn't be more excited. I have all my paperwork in order, most all items needed packed, and am mentally prepped. I'm not sure what exactly I'll miss the most about the states but daily internet access is way up there. I'm hoping the break-up wont be too terrible.
I still need to pack my iPod, for real. It really only has Katy Perry and Die Antwoord currently. I got a brand new external harddrive for all of my entertainment goods, 250 gigs worth. I put 50 gigs of radio programs on it, 40 of those gigs were old LoveLine episodes. I'm putting my music folder in it right now, it's 170 gigs.
I received the details about my training and it looks so great. I'll fill you all in next time, I have to paint my suitcase now.

Staging Information
I just received the email for how staging will be going down. I have to call to set up air travel from Portland to LA, this is free but I still set it up. once in LA all invitees must attend every small event, they sound like seminars. the next day we're on a plane for Tokyo, we have a two hour layover and finally zip away to Manila. I've very excited.
I've been in Vancouver just under 24 hours and am slightly overwhelmed. I have power of attorney papers to complete tomorrow morning and have to start figuring out my packing list. I thought I barely had anything now, I'm about to have only clothing. Also, I feel my diet is going to take a beating here, grandma keeps telling me all about the ice cream in the fridge, oh boy.
Time to boil some black beans.
